Dreams V.S. Reality

There is a place where life is good,
People are happy;
Where smiles are real,
Sadness is fake.

There is a place where the sun always shines,
The sky’s always blue;
Where the oceans are clean,
Eyes never glistening.

There is a place where life is fair,
Depression is no more;
Where there are no orphaned children,
There is no abandonment.

There is a place where the sky is grey,
The oceans polluted with filth;
Where smiles tell lies,
Sadness bleeds through fresh wounds.

There is a place where guilt is overbearing,
Depression is suffocating;
Where everyone hurts,
There are no happy endings.

There is a place with destruction,
With corruption;
Where the bravest are cowards,
Death is the king.
