Chapter 1
A Normal Morning
Hazel is a 17-year-old girl who doesn't have a normal life. Her family is very rich, but they rarely spend money on her. Her mom, Rose, loves her to death. The problem is that her dad doesn't. Her dad abuses her mom when she shows love to Hazel.
Her mom tries her best to not be abused, but to also show love to her daughter. Hazel tries her best to be a normal typical teenager; having friends, going out, and of course, liking boys. In addition, she really does like a boy: Matt Williams. They used to be friend until 6th grade. He decided to forget everyone except one girl; Adeline Hastek. They were two of the most popular people in Riverside Middle School, and still are in Riverside High School.
Hazel woke up in the morning like she always does. She starts heading down to eat breakfast quickly since she's about to be late. "Got to go mom. See you at 4:30 PM," said Hazel while she bites on a waffle. "Alright, Hazel Have a good day," says her mom.
She sees her only friend, Arianna Sanchez, walking to school, so she joins her. "Hola, Hazel," says Maria. "Hey, Arianna," says Hazel.They notice Matt walking at the other side of the street, and Hazel would sigh. Hazel says, "God, I wish I could confess to him, but I'm not pretty nor popular at all. In addition, he's already dating Adeline." Correction: Hazel is actually one of the prettiest girls in the school. Prettier than Adeline. "Don't worry about it. There can be better chicos in this world," says Arianna. "Sure," says Hazel.
They arrive at school just in time and get their stuff from their lockers. Luckily, Arianna and Hazel are both very smart, so they breezed all the classes. At lunch, everything turned around. Adeline was fighting (punching, pulling, and kicking) a semi-nerd called Aiden. Aiden was very quiet and rarely talked to people. He was pretty weird aswell. Strangely, Hazel went up to Adeline and started screaming at her. Something she said was,"Stop fighting him. He's just an innocent guy." Adeline replied, "You're not my mom. You can't tell me what to do, you fucking bitch." Hazel replies back, "Well, at least he doesn't have an actor as a dad AND A FUCKING PROSTITUTE AS A MOM."






Chapter 2
Unexpected Turn

Everything turned silent.
Hazel started regretting what she said.
She thought, "What have I done? This is not okay."
Adeline ran as far as she could (mainly to the restroom), and Hazel ran as far as she could as well (mainly the library). And especially something she kept thinking each second: "Why did I protect Aiden?" Hazel, a beautiful girl, protecting Aiden, a weird semi-rich and semi-nerd guy. As if that was weird, Matt broke up with Adeline after she hurt Aiden very badly. Currently, Aiden was in the nurse getting his wounds healed. Hazel, thinking about what she did, and Adeline, being caught by a teacher and sent to the principal's office.
Some hours later, everyone was starting to head home just when Aiden stopped Hazel. Aiden said, "Hey I just really wanted to thank you about what you did earlier. It was very kind." Hazel was shocked. Hazel thought he had the nicest, beautiful, and kindest voice ever.
"Hello? Are you okay?," said Aiden.
"Oh sorry. I was thinking about something..um..anyways..no need to thank me."
Aiden would wave goodbye to Hazel, and he'd start walking home. Hazel was starting to think. "Did I now like Aiden? What's going on to me? I'm not okay," thought Hazel."I just called her mom a prostitute. I mean. She is a prostitute. 'Ms.Hastek, want to have some good ass kinky sex?' type." She still regretted it. She decided to not tell her mom about it since the teachers might tell her. Surprisingly, they didn't. Not even the principle. Later that night, Hazel received a random text. "Hey. It's Aiden. Aiden Hansen. Just wanted to say hello. You don't have to answer. I might not be able to answer. I have to visit my dad at the jail. Bye!" Hazel remembered that Aiden's dad was arrested for killing his mom, but she decided to not think about that now. She replied, "Hi Aiden. Might not answer back as well. Goodnight."
In the morning at school, Hazel was suddenly the new popular girl. Aiden and her recently started talking more. "So how's life?," said Aiden. "Fine so far. Thanks for asking," says Hazel. Adeline would be silent and angry at someone. Not anyone in school: her mom. She wishes she was with another family everyday. Adeline wasn't sad when Hazel mentioned her mom actually. She was mad but not at Hazel. Some days later, on Valentines Day, Aiden was ready to confess that he had a crush on Hazel. He decided to bring flowers and chocolates. What he didn't know was that Matt was going to do the same thing. Right after lunch, Aiden started heading to Hazel, who was standing in front of her locker. However, Matt got there first. "Hey, Hazel. I just wanted to tell you that I had a crush on you," he'd say. Hazel says, "Oh wow...I had a crush on you too."







Chapter 3
Broken



Aiden was shocked. He was melancholic.He had no idea Matt liked Hazel. He definitely didn't knew Hazel liked Matt. While he walked away, Hazel noticed flower petals from the flowers Aiden got, but she had no idea it was Aiden. Aiden sat on the crosswalk and ate the chocolates, and he had gave the flowers to someone: Adeline. He, of course, had no feelings for her though. Hazel walked home with Matt, and Matt was pretty shocked at how huge Hazel's mansion was. The truth was that Matt never liked her, and he was planning to do something to her. Hazel gave him permission to stay overnight. Matt says, "Thanks for letting me stay..what a beautiful house with a beautiful girl." Hazel would blush and say, "Heh. Thanks. Luckily, my dad's not here. He abuses my mom a lot."
Matt would wait until she fell asleep to plan his mission.It was currently 10:00 PM, and he'd cover her mouth hard, and she'd suddenly wake up and stay silent. Matt says, "Don't you dare make any noise or tell anyone." His cute facial expressions changed completely. He was now a crazy lunatic trying to abuse and rape her. He'd start to undress himself and her. He'd tie her up and cover her mouth with tape. She'd start to tear up but stay silent. He'd start to rape her until he decided to stop at midnight: 12:00 AM. He released her, and they both fell asleep. In the morning at 5:00 AM, he'd jump off the window and start walking to his home.
Some months passed, and he'd do this to her everyday until Hazel finally confessed. She'd message Aiden, "Aiden. I need you to meet me at Target. Please." By this time, he actually started dating Adeline since he got to know her more after Hazel stopped talking to him just because Matt forced her to stop. He'd meet her up in the Target parking lot. Hazel says, "I'm extremely sorry I stopped talking to you. I had no option. Matt forced me." Aiden says, "Stop lying. I always knew you didn't like-." Hazel would start tearing up, " I'm not lying. Matt would rape me every damn fucking night, and he said he'll kill me if I told anyone." She'd hug him tightly. "I'm sorry. I'm just...may we go to the police station?" Aiden says, "Let's go." He'd start to drive her to the police station, and she would tell the police everything. When they returned to his car, they stayed silent. Hazel says," So how's your relationship with Adeline?". "Very good, as a matter of fact," says Aiden. Hazel would feel jealous in her head. "That's great," says Hazel. "However, I feel like she's doing something with another guy-" Aiden would turn to her angry, "You're saying she's cheating on me? Just shut up. You're jealous that I made good decisions. You wouldn't have been raped if-." Hazel would tear up, get out of the car, and slam the door shut. Aiden says, "Wait-". Hazel says, "Bye, Aiden. Have fun with Adeline the cheater."
They stopped talking to each other for some weeks until Aiden went up to her at the park around 9 PM. Aiden says, "She was cheating on me. You were right.." Hazel turns to him, "Yeah. I'm an honest person. I'm not a bitch like her fucking fake ass." Aiden and her would stay silent. Suddenly, he would pull her close and kiss her. Hazel would kiss him back. He'd pick her up and take her to his car and make out with her. Aiden says, "No, I shouldn't..you've went through a lot.". "I don't care. I love you," says Hazel. They would continue as Aiden was shocked that she said "I love you." Around an hour later, they'd get dressed, and Aiden would drive her home. Aiden says, "Goodnight lovely." "Goodnight loser," Hazel jokes, kisses him, and heads inside her house. Aiden would stay in the driveway since he was trying to find his phone in the backseat. Hazel smiles, but then she sees her dad sitting on the chair with a knife. He'd stab her on her stomach, and she'd scream for help. Aiden would hear, and dial 911 on his phone which he found on time. Hazel would start to lose consciousness and lay on the floor, bleeding.
Her dad would catch Aiden and shot him with a gun on his arm. He'd shout in pain but resist. Luckily, the police and ambulances came on time and took Aiden and Hazel to the hospital while her dad went to jail. Where was Rose? Rose was already at the hospital since she was stabbed by him earlier in the day. She was fine luckily. Everyone was. Both Aiden and Hazel returned to school a week later. They were asked millions of questions, but they just ignored it. They started dating when they returned to school as well.
