My goodbye
I love you, but I don't feel right,
And I don't want to be here anymore.
In this darkness I can see light,
But I cannot feel it anymore.

It's this emptiness I fill with distraction,
A sorrow I can only sleep away.
Life can offer me no satisfaction;
I can't even keep my eyes open in the day.

I've asked for Him to save me many times,
Yet here I remain in chains of man's design.
And eventually, when it is that I will die,
There will be nobody to hear my goodbye.
