Say: "Thank You!"
To the veterans
just coming home from war,
that are standing at the airport
or disembarking on the shore;
these warriors need to experience
your appreciation and support.

.Say: "Thank You!"
To the veterans
wandering homeless
through city streets;
these veterans are not nameless
they need good food to eat,
and safe places to sleep.

Say: "Thank You!"
To the veterans
waiting in line at the VA
buy them hot joe,
and listen to what they have to say;
because each one has a story
that everyone should know.
