Self-esteem,

The esteem of one's self,

But how can I define,

The wealth of myself,

How can I define the health of my being?

How can I define, what I am not seeing?

By society's standards, I ain't shit,

I don't get any kind of likes, no love, no clicks,

I do wonderful things, and share my gifts,

Often to the reception of nothing,

Hell I'll even take "you're the ish,"

So how do I determine, the esteem of myself?

Wealth of my pockets, well that won't help,

I guess I have to go on, love who I am,

Without all the groupies, without all the fans,

Without all the love, of people I don't know,

Self-esteem doesn't come, with packages or bows.
