One tree was strong and towered towards the heavens, as ancient as the earth. The other was frail and withered, barely taller than man, imprisoned within the clutching, twisting trunks of the first. Strangled by its looming captor, Jahannam, the smaller tree struggled for life.
But, that was over a thousand years ago, before the great war between the two tribes of man: one on the eastern shore of the river Bo'linish; the other, on the western shore.
