Krispy Kreme Donuts

She calls on her way to get
warm, yummy goodness.
(The melt-in-your-mouth
sort of confection covered in
gooey, finger licking,
to-die-for,
saliva producing
need.
It. Is. Not. Fair.
Want. NOW!
Mean friend. She's total slime!
They even have hot ones,
just sliding down the conveyor belt,
into open mouths.
This is cruelty
beyond measure.

Then she whines.
Ones she wants aren't available yet.
Sends multiple pictures of
mouth-watering alternatives.
Gets a dozen. And, gee whiz,
has to go back later
to get a dozen more
of the ones she really wants.
Poor baby.

There is a special place
in a dungeon somewhere
reserved
just for her!
