Autumn as a Child

As a child Autumn was fun and eventful at my Grandmothers
With the children, my Grandmother babysat we would always rake
up the leaves in a large pile to jump right into them which scatters
the leaves all over the place again for goodness sake.

Another fun thing they would do was climb the willow tree in the yard
and played in that while I watched them because I could not climb the willow
tree. They would put toys in the hole that was in the tree which was not hard
for me to do from the ground since that part of the willow tree was low.

There were three trees in the front yard that we could use for playing
kickball and softball witch the three trees would be used for the bases
and we had to use something else for the first base which was interesting
while we all loved to play these games at an autumnly pace.
