My Dream

Since I was young I had a dream,
Like most growing children do.

Some dream to be doctors, some dream to be stars,
But I've always dreamed of you.

From the moment I met your father,
I knew it was meant to be;
He was everything I'd wished for,
He would help me fulfil my dream.

Three years of blissful dating,
Now it is four years after our vows;

A lot of love, two souls lost,
But we are pretty far along now.

You're due on our anniversary of marriage,
Our precious gift will be you;
We are so delighted and grateful,
To love you our whole lives through.


So when you dream of becoming a doctor,
Or whatever you wish to be;

Just know all of your dreams are attainable,
You are a dream come true for me.
