Description of a war victim:
The musty odour of smoke clogged in my throat as I started to choke and suffocate. Limping across the dead, charred, blackened earth, I gazed at the remains of the village that was once a lively, vigorous place. The big oak tree that once stood in the middle of the village, completely disintegrated along with everything else. I looked at my skin as it started to peel and burn. Bodies and flesh of my loved ones were scattered in every direction. Prolonged cries of pain filled the lifeless atmosphere. This was the beginning of a war. A war exposed to innocent people, like me, triggered by political corruption.
