Beauty is the Ocean:

Beauty is the Indian Ocean
its waves rolling onto the beach
washing the feet of citizens and tourists.

Beauty is the ocean
singing the anthem of the Seychelles,
"Join together all Seychellois"1,
while the call of the Seychelles black parrot2
echoes the nations motto:
"The End Crowns the Work"3.

Beautiful the Tropical rainforest4 climate,
and the coco de mer5 palm--
nicknamed the "love nut"6.

Beautiful
the Republic of Seychelles,
inviting tourist
from across the Earth
to see its unique flora and fauna,
to experience its seasons
and "ocean economy"7.
