A Haughty War - My Journey’s a Bust

When expectations take their toll,
I look for strength to reach my goal -
The urgent need, so late, just stole
My good will, patience, now I’m droll!

Wait till now to spread this news?
All day long, I’ve paid my dues.
Important tasks like these could use
Some timing, and not seem a ruse...

Just began the maddening process.
Fulfilling, and consumed by stress.
Requests like this imply the mess
My boss may call a great success. 

Completed now, the deal closed -
Its pick up status, now disclosed.
Not as bad as I supposed -
Certainly feeling more reposed.
