"Taylor, where are you", her mother calls worried. "We need to leave, the storm is coming", her dad calls. Her parents search the house relentlessly. "I can't find her", says the dad, "where could she have gone, she is only three". For all Taylors parents know, she wandered outside, but really, she was safely locked in the basement by Karl before he left the city. "We never had the chance to tell her" said her mom, Cate. "Karl will tell her when she is old enough, he told me had safely gotten out of the city", said her dad, Kyle. "Ok, at least if we don't make it, he can take care of her. Should we make a run for it, I think we can make it to that gas station, they have a storm shelter?" said Cate. "Let's try", said her dad. Her parents started running but were struck by lightning.
