Just a funny little script I wrote when I was bored.

DOCTOR
Look Miss Johnston, there's no easy way of saying this...

EMILY
(texting) Yeah... 1 sec doctor sorry

DOCTOR
Miss Johnston...

EMILY
Oh, please just call me Emily

DOCTOR
Very well, Emily - I hate to inform you that

EMILY
(phone rings) Yeah 1 sec (Answers phone) Oh hey!!! No I'm not busy what's up?

DOCTOR
Emily...

EMILY
(On phone) No!

DOCTOR
I really think you should

EMILY
He didn't

DOCTOR
We really need to...

EMILY
Shut up!

DOCTOR
(Shouting) Emily, Harrison's dead

EMILY
(Looks at Doctors, short pause) I'm sorry Rachel I'm going to have to call you back

DOCTOR
I'm sorry

EMILY
You killed Harrison???

DOCTOR
We did all we could to save him, but the injuries were very server.

EMILY
My baby!!

DOCTOR
I am incredibly sorry

EMILY
Where is he?

DOCTOR
He's in the back, would you like to take him home?

EMILY
Of course I would! I'm not going to leave him here for you to throw out like last week's tuna

DOCTOR
I didn't have tuna last week...

EMILY
It's a metaphor, you stupid human!

DOCTOR
Right...

EMILY
I can't believe it, he was only 4! How did it happen?

DOCTOR
He was run over by a car

EMILY
I always told him not to play in the road.

DOCTOR
You did?

EMILY
I brought my child up right

DOCTOR
I see

EMILY
Can I take him home now doctor?

DOCTOR
Of course. We will wrap him up for you and send him out

EMILY
Thank you. Do you have the death certificate?

DOCTOR
We don't usually do certificates

EMILY
How will I register him dead then?

DOCTOR
Well, you don't really need to do that

EMILY
But if he's dead surly I need to notify someone?

DOCTOR
Miss, he is a cat, not a human!

EMILY
Wait... what?

DOCTOR
Your cat...

EMILY
Cat????

DOCTOR
Yes...

EMILY
Oh, thank god! My heart! I thought you meant my son!

DOCTOR
Good god no!

EMILY
Well I don't care about that ball of fluff you can keep it. (rings friend back on phone) It's ok false alarm, so you were saying? (Emily exits whilst talking on the phone, leaving the doctor stood looking rather confused)
