‘GOWN OF PAIN’
My sweet breath says it loud
Words swing in my mind
Babbling like a dying frog’s throat
Am trapped in a parrot cage
My marabou stork neck is out of the cage
I always thought never to suffer at this age
I thought i had grown up and needed a crown
All i got was a gown of pain
Now i live a life of toil
It hurts, i squeal
She will never understand
I die every day and resurrect at night
When she is with me in a dream
Holding my hand
In a pool of pain i drowned
Lies me on the shower, her arms
And she gives a kiss of life.
