The black upon Black trees stood senatile, looming in front of me as I pulled myself over the rough, dry rubble. I ignored as the sharp rock tore through the thin fabric of my clothes and sliced in to my skin. The air was crisp and cold, innocent to what was happening. I exhaled and watched as my breath clouded in the air slowly dissolving in to the darkness it reminded m of an old steem train clawing its way up a steep hill with steam pooling out of the funnel.
