Garlic Skins

It happened again this morning
(Despite my best efforts the evening before)
Yes they were back-
And now somehow even more of them
In every crack and cranny of the kitchen
Floor.
They aren't easily cornered
Since they're much lighter than air,
Also somewhat invisible
So I'm always sure to miss one
Or two
Or three,
That are hiding here or there.
And if it weren't for the well known fact it
Makes my breath much better on the ballroom
dance floor
I'd stop bringing them home
Alltogether
From
The
Farmers
Roadside
Garlic
Store.
