Eyes to the ground, hands in pockets,
A nod to those you pass,
Faces of no expression.

Clouded skies, condemned houses,
Windows without glass,
Relics of an economic depression.

Crime is a blight, doors locked at night,
Jails filled by the lower class,
Those who visit leave with a bad impression.
