America Wake Up

We cry for more red sates,
we cry for more blue.
We cry for a leader
who knows what to do.
We cry for equality,
We cry out for peace.
We rally and shout
for fighting to cease.
We write out letters
asking for assistance,
then when help arrives,
we show resistance
We get angry and pout,
turning red in the face
complaining so much
it's an embarrassing disgrace!
AMERICA, WAKE UP!
God's coming is near!
Open your eyes
and open your ears!
Elephants are useless,
no donkey we need.
Government assistance
we need not to plead.
Where we should go instead
is right down on the floor
hard on our knees
until we reach Heaven's door.
A man cannot save us,
that's our Father's job.
Put your trust in Him.
Your hope he'll not rob.
He's the only one
who can turn America around
if we'll only let him
place us on solid ground.
Let's quit our fretting and fearing,
our protests and our pout.
WAKE UP AMERICA!
Let's let GOD set us about!
