An Empty Heart

Things do come better between the two of us
Everything around us goes along in harmony
Perfection must I say a good way to describe it
One mistake or too many do come in hand easily

Our love is a kind that never exists like everyday
It sheds light over the darkest spots of our lives
Even sun casts its rays straight across our hearts
Bringing deeper warmth to our deep feelings

But things gone nothing like the way it used to be
Bit by bit the light seems to shine unsteadily
A string of promises loses its grip on us in place
None of us took a step undoing the undeniable pain

What we had just went on becoming in question
Makes our hearts strayed apart down the hill
Trying to make things right is making things worse
Wearying all the strength our love once owned
