About a hidden rose. |
THE HIDDEN ROSE She lay there with her eyes wide open not being able to sleep With words that where left unspoken lay too deep Where a calmness washed over her like a tranquil balm She held it all down in her palm.. On her lap sat a brown treasure chest with a red rose intricately carved on the top of the lid It sparkled and shone it was the hidden rose that would reveal what the box hid. What was inside of the box of treasure was yet to be unknown She knew the mystery of the rose was one of her deepest pleasures to be yet shown Where she knew with only just one touch The magic of the box that would reveal so much For with time it has with stood its memory The hidden rose tells of its history Of how it all came about With that she had no doubt. It would hold something special and so very rare Where no other mystery could comapare She held on tightly to her treasure box that told its own tale Where with one breath she did inhale.. Where she knew that when the box was open There would be no more words to be spoken. For the beauty of the hidden rose would come alive Where in her open heart and memory did survie When she sat up and touched the box with her finger The thoughts filled her with memories that wanted .to linger. They where the only true tales that she wanted to tell Oh how her heart would swell.. She opened the box to find one single, solitary letter Hoping it would make her feel better When she saw the hidden rose label encrypted on the cover of the treasure chest Then she had to try her best.. She knew that it was from her former lover Where only she was the one to discover. For deep withing the treasure of her heart There in the depth lay a gold rose pin, that would connect them forever, not to part She slowly opened up the letter, only to let the tear drops fall For she knew at one time she had it all. The words that she read out loud, filled her heart with love Where it made her feel proud like the calling of a dove She knew their hearts would ever be eterwined Where the hidden rose would not be left behind. |
