A song/poem about addiction.
Oh Rosie,

Do you remember, that dream
Fueled by some sort of gasoline
Smell of missteps in the air,
And a hazy velvet sheen

Do you remember, that night
Ignoring your drunken plight,
Sound of laughter in the air
If it were your own device

Would you have changed a thing?

Oh, Rosie. I know that only the good die young.
So now that the devil has taken your tongue
Maybe you could live forever

But Oh, Rosie. Dying is a sort of a closure
Even though nobody knows for sure
Maybe you could die someday?

And Hey, Rosie. Force open those eyes and finally see
You're stuck in this chemical reality
Maybe i could help you escape

Do you remember, that dream
Fueled by some sort of gasoline
Smell of missteps in the air,
And a hazy velvet sheen

Do you remember, that night
Ignoring your drunken plight,
Sound of laughter in the air
If it were your own device

Would you have changed a thing?

Oh Rosie. Am i writing this a bit too late?
Have the worms burrowed into your brain?
Maybe this time it's finally done

But Oh Rosie. Do you remember what it's like to laugh?
And before i write your epitaph
Maybe you could be a miracle

And Oh, Rosie, Did you read the sign in front of the train?
Calling All Aboard! Misery and Pain!
Maybe you could try to jump

But do you still remember, that dream,
Fueled by some sort of, gasoline
Smell of missteps in the air,
And a hazy velvet sheen

And do you remember, that night
Ignoring your drunken plight,
Sound of laughter in the air
If it were your own device

Would you have changed a thing?

Oh Rosie, i only have a few more lines
I have to say you're running out of time
Just remember next time you cry
Who you used to be, before that night
Oh Rosie.
