Just some more random thoughts
Daydreaming

Sirens screaming
Headlights beaming
Moon’s glow gleaming
And I’m daydreaming.

A day not a rat race
Where I can set my own pace
Against violence I brace
And people can make their case.

Where colors shine bright
We don’t fear the night
Talking instead of constant fight
And hugging each other tight.

I want to run away
Where God hears me pray
People listen to what I say
Not to see another day.

Sirens stopped screaming
Headlights no longer beaming
Moon’s glow gave up gleaming
And I’ve stopped daydreaming.
