Twas the Night Before NaNo 2017

Twas the night before NaNo and all through the house,
My family was dressed up, yes even my spouse.
The candy was now in a place hard to find,
In hopes that out of sight might be out of mind.

My prepping was done and all printed out.
Much work to be done yet without a doubt.
Laptop all charged up and ready to go,
How I’ll fit writing in no one can know.

So dear friends and family who all cheer me on,
By this point next month the time will be gone.
A dragon’s great challenge, Tobias will see,
Not one element but connected to three.

The Keystone he’ll learn is not what he thought,
And working with water he cannot be taught.
With Poppy and Pumpkin there by his side,
A new Keystone binds them, together allied.
