You Cheated Life

The reels are running again in your mind, for the thousandth time, and the visual is not kind, but your eyes are the only ones privy to the strange and graphic pictures showing up, leaving you physically shook, and if you were a drinker you would have already been drunk, because the thoughts make your emotions sink, you feel you are at the brink, you mind has gone off crazy and you can't clearly think,

what would your father say if he knew about the thoughts inside of you, what about your best friend, can he save you from your torment,

what about your wife, how would she see you, knowing you took a life, and that you were deceitful, the worst part is that it could have been prevented, and that is the reason why you are being tormented,

your mother told you to be a real man, to speak up and stand up for yourself, and do the right things, and never get caught up in no mess, and she told you what would be the main cause of it,

yes, another man’s woman,

but you didn't listen, you had your own plan, which caused you to be in a confrontation with another man, who didn't have time to rationalize nor understand why you decided to destroy his relationship,

yes you were the one that he caught his wife with,

so the storm ensued right after the argument, and 3 bullets exploded leaving spent shell cartridges, and a human life gone away, because you showed no restraint or strength when you stepped into another man’s relationship, and capitalized on his woman's weakness,
she has her blame there is no denying, but you, why did you choose to be part of the problem, it's so inexcusable, because you are married, with a good woman at home and your baby she is carrying,

but now your world is about to implode, because that woman you cheated with has her own story to be told, she kept a secret from the man she claimed to love, he trusted her, for which she was not deserving of,

you were not her first nor her last, but you are the one who now has the disease she has, yeah those secret getaways for your adulterated escapades, filled you with more than temporary pleasure, that will soon cause you a visit to a special doctor, who won’t be able guarantee your health nor survival,

and you can't stop the revelation of this stories unfolding to save your life, because that woman has already told the police, and now she is on her way to have a woman to woman with your wife, to let her know how you cheated life.........
