A Beautiful Journey

(During the night on that day….)

Mama, I am hungry……

“Hey, Catherine! Isn’t it time for you to sleep?” Evan asks, urging her to go to bed.

“Wait, dear! I need more FOOD!” Catherine replies back while munching away hungrily.

“Burp! Hah! Delicious! I’m super satisfied!! Now I can go to bed! Honey…Oh, he is asleep,” Catherine gasps and smiles at her sleeping husband.

“Goodnight to both my dear husband and child,” Catherine smiles again before turning off the light.

The sound of the clock ticking away in the silence of the night,

Exposing the first appearance of destiny…

And destiny comes in the form of “time” …….

A beautiful day,

surrounded by the beauty of the flowers,

covered by the tranquility of the wind,

and bathed in the warmth of the sun,

is spent by a pair of beautiful unfamiliar children. A girl and a boy, both playing happily together in the endlessly wide flowers field.

The birds and the other animals join them.

The view.......is too magical to look at.

Laughter, joy, peace and love.

It is almost like a paradise.

BUT then..........

A dark shadow is slowly growing silently beneath both of the children's feet and each of the animals is slowly dying away as the darkness embraces them.........

Each and everyone......

is dying, dying....

"AARGH!!!!" Catherine wakes up instantly with eyes filled of tears. Her heart is beating rapidly.

Mmm..... Mama?

Are u okay?

Did you have a nightmare?

"Catherine!! Are you alright? You have been crying in your sleep! Did you have a nightmare?" Evan asks with concern.

Catherine quickly turns to Evan and hugs him tightly. "Honey, please let me stay in your arms for a while."

Evan hugs her back and comforts her by patting softly on her back until she sleeps.....
