This article shows us the end of the church age and second coming of Jesus Christ.
The End Of The Church Age

O praise the name of Jesus, wonderful saints of God…I am so blessed to be taking to you today about Jesus’ discourse found in Matthew 24…Here the disciple asked Jesus three questions…1) when will the temple be destroyed, 2) what will be the signs of Jesus second coming, and 3) when will the end of the age occur? Jesus didn’t answer their first question, when will the temple be destroyed, because He knew that it would come to pass in their life time…But He did answer their other two questions. Jesus answered their questions in the order that they were asked…when will His second coming occur, and then when will the church age end…but since chronologically the church age will end before Jesus second coming, we will look at the church age first. Jesus addresses the question concerning the church age, He says. Take heed that no man deceive you.For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. During the church age we have had many deceitful men who came in Jesus name but was not sent by Jesus, We have had civil wars and world wars, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes throughout the church age. Jesus goes on to say; But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Here Jesus is referring to the Rapture of the Church, no man knows when the Rapture will occur, we know when the second coming will occur, seven jears after the start of the tribulation, but the Rapture is imminent, it could happen at any time…Jesus goes on to say; But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come…

. The Rapture of the church will bring the Church age to a close but, Jesus has to answer the disciple question about His second so He says; Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted during tribulation, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. In verse nine Jesus puts us now in the tribulation, KJ version omits the word tribulation but most versions, including the AMP. Uses the word tribulation, and I believe that this is correct for many reasons, this is the only time that all of the world hates the Jews, the love of many shall wax cold, Jesus tells us that he that endures until the end shall be saved, referring to the tribulation. Jesus goes on to say; And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. This is a task that will not be filled during the church age. At this time the only Evangelist that is traveling globally is Benny Hinn and he is not reaching the Islamic world, doors are closed to the gospel in the Islamic world There are two things most saints are expecting to occur on earth that will not happen

. First they are looking for the church to be without spot, wrinkle or blemish, this will never happen while the church is on earth, next they are expecting the gospel to be preached unto all of the world during the church age, it will never happen, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Afghanistan will never open their doors to the gospel during the church age, but God has a plan. In Revelation 7 it is recorded; And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. These hundred and forty four thousand Jewish men are chosen by God to evangelize the world, they have the seal of God to shield and protect them from being killed by anti-christ and anyone else that would attempt to harm during their ministry. Verse nine goes on to say; After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; here John sees a multitude of people from all nations, including those Islamic nations mention earlier, every nation, kindred, people, and tongue. During the church age, if anyone attempted to evangelize those Islamic nations they would be killed, but here God has sealed these hundred forty four thousands Jewish evangelist to prevent them from being killed, keep listening to the word of God, verse 13;

And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Here we are told that the Jewish evangelist minister during the great tribulation, this tells me that the gospel will not go into every nation until the tribulation, after the church age. In Matthew 24 Jesus said And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. The end here is not the church age, it has already ended, not the end of the world because the 1000 years reign of christ has not taken place, but the end of the tribulation, he that endures unto the end of the tribulation shall be saved. but here in Jesus discourse in Matthew 24 we are in the middle of the tribulation for Jesus goes on to say; When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. Here Jesus is speaking specifically to the nation of Israel, for the church is already in heaven, the nation of Israel is on earth, they are the ones who worship in the temple. The Abomination of Desolation that was prophesized by Daniel is when the anti-christ goes into the newly rebuilt temple during the tribulation and demands to be worshiped as God. Jesus tells the Jews that when they see this happen, run for your lives. Jesus goes on to say; For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened. According to Jesus the tribulation will be the worst time in the history of humanity , He says that except those days be shorten, no flesh would be saved, buy for the elect sake, referring to Israel, those days shall be shorten. Jesus says; Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Behold, I have told you before. Here Jesus mention the anti-christ and false prophet of Revelation 13, during the tribulation, the anti-christ will rule the political affairs of the whole world and the false prophet will rule the religious affairs of the world. Jesus says; Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Here Jesus is referring o His second coming, also recorded in Revelation 19, it reads. And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. This is the second coming of Jesus Christ, he is coming to put an end to the rule of the anti-christ and the false prophet, and to set up His 1000 reign upon the earth. Jesus says; Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled…What generation is Jesus referring to that will not pass away till all be fulfilled? The generation that is on earth to see the Abomination of Desolation spoken by Daniel, shall not pass away until all be fulfilled. Amen
