Blood Rose

Leaves filled with colors
Red,brown, and gold
Filled with wrath and anger
My Darling, my death is coming
And it's a force to be reckoned with

Danger lurks in the Forbidden Forest,
My idiotic heart so dear desires
Love so pure,
Yet filled with emotions uncontrollable in one's self
How can my heart ever survive?
For my heart can't love

Causing a bloody war
Once the thorns had tasted your very existence,
The reddest wine that flows in your veins,
Your only life essence
That I must have

The energy in me is roaring
Like an untamed fire
Bursting with power and determination
And all that's left was a blood rose
The rose that you gave me on a rainy day

Is this really what I wanted?
Was he really worth it?
The ultimate sacrifice?
For me, yes he was
He was the only one for me

He calls me, "My queen"
I call him, " My king"
I love him deeply
He's lurking in my dreams
Though he might not know what he does to me

And I might never tell him
Because me giving him my heart
Was the scariest thing I've done
I might not be able to again
So please don't shatter it

For my heart can't take it
I might be a queen
But I still need a king
A king to turn to when I'm down on my knees
And a king that I wish to protect like in a game of chess

He must be afraid to lose me
Like every other king
He must slay the dragon
That's guarding its treasure
Though it would be a very hard task that boy that is to be king must not be afraid

So slay that beast
And take its treasure
And I'll then be ours
Protecting her king
I'll be your queen

We shall rule
Our love overflowing
Like a river in a flood
We will build an empire
Until our downfall is upon us

So my dearest king
I love you
Always and forever
Don't ever forget that
And I'll always remind you

That you are mine
And I am yours
A king
And a queen
Reunited for eternity
