Ode to bed
Ode to sweet bed
Where down I lay my head
For I will slumber
And you will support my lumbar
And in beneath the sheets
Where I lay my feet
And bones
And when we are alone
I can snooze all the while
When I wake up I can smile
Feeling rested and refresh
I can jump out and get dressed
Start the day and pull the covers straight
Makes it look nice and even great.
I lean over the corner and say my prayers
and oh thank heavens for my mattress here!
