As I am I have come to survive, I know nothing less than this chaotic mess I call my life.

-Fall Apart-

Pieces
Parts
In shambles
It’s a start
Not an end
Once
I was one
A whole being
A greater thing
Something more
Now I’m not
Everything
To nothing
Between
I’ve survived
Just because
Fall apart
It’s a start
And an end
A wilderness
Of many Id’s
Suggestive creatures
Defensive mechanisms
Tearing at my heart
Ripping at my soul
Telling me
You must go
Leave this home
Break from
Skin and bone
You must escape
But I won’t
I refuse
I’m not done
I may be the pieces
Of a once greatness
But I’m more
Than before
Lesser
No more
Fall apart
Those who know me
Those few
Who understand
Stand with heart
In hand
Begging me
Comeback to us
Leave that place
Forget that pain
Become one
Again with us
Leave madness
Break from sadness
Forget your gift
It’s become a curse
Escape
But I can’t
I won’t
I must be this
Who I am
What I am
Never can I be
The slightest bit less
Fall apart
No longer one
I am many
An identity
Without knowing it
A person
Without feeling it
I use these words
A form of expression
A reflection
Of who I once was
But no longer am
Pieces
Parts
In shambles
It’s a start
Not an end
I understand
Most of all
This is what I am
Who I must be
These words
Beyond meaning
These ideas
Far past understanding
These things I say
More than a way
Fall apart
It’s a start
Some might say
It’s an end
But not I…
