My take on the weather sometimes.
Rainy Day

It’s raining down quite hard;
the rivers flood their banks.
Wait a minute – it’s wintertime here
isn’t it supposed to snow?

Fog settles on the window pane;
clouds hang low in the sky.
With the refreshing rain
comes a chance to start anew.

The clouds begin to darken;
thunder rumbles from the sky,
lightening strikes where it will,
nature’s tantrum shows her wrath.

I wish the rain would stop, and
allow the sun to shine brightly,
to melt all my blues away
so I can seek a new adventure.
