A interesting perspective on looking at things.

This is My post from an old site, but one of my favorites, while we deal with so much bad it is often we especially here in the US need to look at things from a different perspective.

Last Sunday and I was out and around, we stopped at a traffic light and a Church Missions Group gentleman came up and wanted a donation so we gave the man some money in his bucket.

He smiled at us and handed me a wonderful gift I thought I would share with you, it has helped me in the past and I use it to work with people in peer to peer groups, helping others. With everyone, including myself arguing with everyone and not really sharing ideas but blasting them at each other, it seemed like a good idea to step back and think about who we all are. I know I am..feel free or not, your choice.

From a small church in my neighborhood.

Here is the thing that keeps me going..even through the roughest times, given to me by a very close friend years ago.

"When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,

When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,

When funds are low and the debts are high,

And you want to smile but you have to sigh,

When care is pressing you down a bit,

Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,

As every one of us sometimes learns,

And many a failure turns about,

When she might have won if she'd stuck it out.

Don't give up, though the pace seems slow -

You may succeed with another blow.

Success is failure turned inside out -

The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,

And you never can tell how close you are -

It may be near when it seems afar;

So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -

It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit."

Have a Great week Everyone- In spite of everything that is happening in our world right now, if we just work with each other and give each person a chance, we could accomplish a great deal as people. Its our time to be positive and show enthusiasm.
