Unsuitably

More confess
Long before
Any start
They could see it

Were blind
We refused
Failure
Never an option
We stayed the course
Right off the cliff
Down to our doom
Silent we remained
As we further fell
Truthfully

Wanted
To believe
When belief
Meant nothing
To us
But a difference
Of situation
Apart
Any spark
And all fire
Doused
The fuel
Spent
Extinguished
Smoldering
Our relations
Hideous
Such intentions
Love for the sake
Of not being alone
But now here we are
Apart
By ourselves
Never again to be
Never will we see
A new day
At each other’s side
All that we built
Torn down
All that we made
Destroyed
All that we had
Set aflame
