From Light of Long Ago

'Within my thoughts of present,
caressed by the soft sea breeze,
in remembrance of a time and place,
where once I longed to be.

On my way back,
through the ages of mankind...
Now,
adrift within the void,
nothingness,
an empty darkness.

Then,
the first thought...
I am,
we are
sailing,
amidst the Light of Life.

I remember a journey,
from a distant place,
from where as light we traveled,
to where we came to be.

This place remains in thought,
in memories that I can see.

I made a choice,
of long ago,
forever that shall be...'
