The Singularity

A moment in time when everything stops
A hole is ripped through all knowing existence
The busy, confused lives of people halted
The Singularity appearing as a lack of substance.

As the Sun grows dark and light tries to escape
The hole of nothingness growing ever wide
A void of light, color, time, and even space
The angry universe seems to flip on its side.

Out of the abyss appears a group of figures
Coming from another dimension altogether
Completely lacking solid form of definition
A succubus of matter and light like no other.

This group continues to wander and observe
Taking in collections of data and code
People and objects are moved and changed
The fate of the world taking a different mode.

Satisfied with their changes they group as one
The darkness slowly transforms back to light
Time and space is converted and returns to life
As the group of strange leaders take flight.
