Dread

As I waken for the day
The dread begins to seep thru my pores
Another day of misery, sadness, and pain
I desire to release and let go

As my day goes forth
The dread sometimes lessen, sometimes intensifies
Another day I truly want
Yet filled with another emotion than this

As my day draws to a close
The dread I fear is still there
I tire yet I fear the sleep
For the morning brings a new dread to fear
