The left column navigation under the Writing.Com (WdC) logo is the main navigation that will get you most anywhere within the site. Your personal areas are at the very top, giving you quick access to your account, portfolio, email, reviews and Gift Points. A few icons below will open your favorites, WdC news and your notepad. The rest of the links will take you into various areas of the community. Don't be afraid to click around and explore... there is much to see and do here! (More info: Navigate Writing.Com) Fill In Your Bio Take a few moments to fill in the BioBlock and Biography of your portfolio. These two visible areas are a quick and easy way to tell other members about you, in as much or little detail as you'd like! (More info: Overview of Your Portfolio) Post Your Writing Now it's time to put your work into your online portfolio! Free members have portfolio space for 10 items. If you would like more space, you may purchase a paid membership (Free and Paid Membership Benefits). The best way to introduce yourself is to visit a few forums and say hello. Visit the purple gradient header at the very top of your page and move your mouse to the very left of it. You will see a small "SKINS" button pop out. Click the button to access the Skins menu and page through various Skins & Themes that are available. You should see your Writing.Com header and layout change instantly with each new skin shown. If you have created more than one account, you need to close the extra(s). It doesn't look like you're creating the b-item link properly. {b-item: links} wouldn't work as a link because it doesn't get parsed because of the space, and because links is not a valid ID number: "Invalid Item" --> "Invalid Item" For the help information on b-item links, see WritingML Help for bitem, which is a pop-up window (pop-ups must be enabled for Writing.Com). You use the b-item tag and the item ID number of the item you want to link to. If you wanted to link to this forum, you would find the item ID in the third line of the header: 303715 You put the item ID number in the b-item tag with no spaces --
