...an attempt to show the ugliness of strife using a circlet
Strife screams
never silent
demands recognition
boldfaced clamoring crescendo
infamous railing explosion of sound
no kin to friendship, nor love ever found
root of pride’s uncensored window
cocked ammunition
triggered moment
strife screams

Poetic form is a "circlet," which is constructed of 10 lines in two, five-line stanzas. The first stanza has a pattern of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 syllables with a rhyme scheme A, b, c, d, e; the second stanza reverses that pattern and the first line is repeated in the last line as demonstrated in the following link: http://poetscollective.org/poetryforms/circlet/.
