Mannerisms: Very reclusive since the battle began and he lost his sweetheart. Vowing to avenge her death no matter what it may cost. Her death must stand for something. A great leader. Firm and devoted to whatever cause he believes in.
Back story:
Josef grew up in a different world it seems. When the pangs of war were something that was not as common. There were communities and brotherhoods. Yes there was the occasional dispute now and again. But nothing like now.
Josef is a tinker by trade. When war began to ravage the land making it unsafe to go out. He began to create a way that he could leave a great balloon just big enough for Greta and himself to chart a new land and live. Unfortunately that is not going to happen. Like Josef, Greta was a lady of principles and morals. She was plucked from life standing up for what she believed in. Not backing down or giving up. Leaving Josef bitter and cold. He did not want to defend the very people that killed his Greta.
