Zombies

ZOMBIES

What zombies walk
With circuits dead
And brains gone decomposed

Oblivious
In some strange zone
To us now indisposed

Verbal cues
Bring no reply
From these living dead

Has some assassin
Been inside
Those devastated heads

Perhaps it's some
Exotic plot
To turn them into drones

But alas
I fear it's just
My kids on their cell phones
