An interpretation of a simple title |
Not a definite line, but not Unclear either. They spend their lives Face to face, never a day spent Without the other. They quietly Speak, the wind carrying their Whisper to the rustling leaves. What a beautiful place â Where the land meets the sea. The vastness beyond and the Vastness before, each eternity Stretching into oblivion. Every inch, no matter how Far, linked to itself, forever In touch, by a line made carefully. What a wonderful â Where the land meets the sea. The depth below the water and The height above the Earth, each Sovereign, yet reliant on The other. What is height without Depth and depth without height? Together They live interdependently. What an inspiring place â Where the land meets the sea. They may love each other, but when They clash, an almighty raucous Ensues. The power behind the Water and the ferocity Within the Earth meet head on in Battle. Who is strong; who is weak? What a ruthless place â Where the land meets the sea. What about the land and the sea Within each of us? Is it, too, both incredible and terrifying? Yes. Where my soul meets my reason Is an undefined, but clear line, Forever joined and never free. What an intricate place â Where the land meets the sea. |
