I've wanted a dalmatian all my life and this sums up the feeling when I finally got one
The purest white,
And spots of black.
It's of all colour,
This pup does lack.

My favourite colour?
Not black nor white.
But in my life,
You'll fit just right.

You've little fur,
Its coarse and short.
Yet you're my dream,
My happy thought.

As a child,
I'd ask for you.
My birthday wish,
Was for you too.

With your absence,
I'd feel blue.
I'd never get,
My dream come true.

Your gorgeous face,
Your blackened nose.
Your spotty back,
Is what I chose.

No other breed,
Of pup will do.
It's you I want,
So I'll get you.

I'll bring you home,
To live with me.
And soon the world,
Will surely see.

My spotted friend,
I'll take your paw.
For you I'll have to ask no more.

You're in my arms,
My precious boy.
You'll fill my life,
With fun and joy.

So come to me,
And snuggle in.
And let these special times begin.
