My battle with illness while in hospital. I was diagnosed as being bipolar with mania.
Time spent upon reflections
Losses take their toll
It's hard to face rejection
Negatives corrupt one's soul
Wisdom is gained through perception
When using hourglass eyes

Chasing illusions filled with dreams
Reality comes as the money goes
Life is a circus of choices made
As we fight to maintain control
Each action faces its opposite
Until you have nothing at all
Prisons made by our own design
Reason filled with insanity
A circus is what you own
The five W are all questioned
Chasing smoke with a flashlight
As the batteries run low
Perceptions become a prism
Managing the perspectives three
How can we all see reality
When each truth covers a lie
Nowhere to run at all
In time we all break free
Through the use of broken dreams
