As she waits

She waits ever so patiently
For her master to return
She misses his strong hands
For his gentle touch she yearns

She is covered up by sadness
No one to tuck her in at night
Her master has been away too long
Something just does not feel right

She grows anxious, she grows worried
Is he ever coming back?
Her thoughts becoming tangled
As her anxiety attacks

Her ears begin to lower
She curls up in a ball
As she then begins to realize
He's not coming back at all
