Shadows of the Heart

Shadows dance within the hearts of all.
But the shadows need the light too.
Every heart is full of love and fear.
One can change a heart.
One can make it whole.
One can make it break.
One can fix it all.
Hate can darken the heart.
Love can make it shine.
But as the light grows,
So do the shadows that play.
Life is full of trials,
But with two hearts,
The world becomes just as bright.
And just as dark.
