I'm here

I felt her feeling nervous , I wondered why?,
I felt she felt pain in her spine but It didn't shock her ,
she then lied down, her heartbeat was raising , not something to worry about ,
I thought she was too excited .

Next thing I know is something sharp cut through her skin.
I stopped right in from of me .
It didn't touch me.
Then it cut a bit deeper, all my water came out,
I got blinded by something new ,
it was light.
Someone took me out and I felt something else that was new to me, I felt cold ,
I let a little cry out.
I was out, a man cut our cord and I wondered How would I eat now?,
I was in a new world full of light. I heard her voice asking if I was ok?
I would recognize that voice anywhere ,a voice that daily talked to me for 38 weeks .
Someone told her I was a girl and I was fine.
I got cleaned up.
I didn't hear her voice again.
