Distant Clouds Float by

Purple skies and clouds float by
Up comes the sun and colours apply
Spreading splashes of sunlight Shades and shadows before daylight
Light and darkness between the trees
Early morning’s gentle breeze
Blazing reds and orange show
Purple skies and sunrise glow.
