This is a poem I wrote in High School
I had a horrible feeling that night.
I can't believe you're gone.
I cried so hard inside when I found out.
You were always making me smile,
Even when I was at my lowest point
You would bring me up with that smile of yours.
I don't want to believe you're gone.
The thought makes me feel so sad and alone,
But don't you fright.
Your image is still so fresh in my mind,
It seems like I have just seen you.
Every time I think of you,
I think of all the good times,
And they wash away any tears,
And the nickname I had for you.
I wish you were still here.
I miss seeing your smiling face.
