“What was that noise? I just heard a noise,” said Memmon. “A strange noise that I shouldn’t be hearing on the sand of a beach.”
“I don’t hear anything,” said Viviona. “You must be hearing noise – again.”
Memmon and Viviona were walking down the beach hand in hand. They were headed back to their location on the beach for today in the near distance – when Memmon suddenly stopped.
“It’s bricks,” Memmon said. “That’s what I am hearing.”
“How can you be hearing bricks? Bricks don’t make any noise,” said Viviona.
“They do if they are falling,” said Memmon. “And they hit something that’s hard.”
Memmon looked around the sand. He couldn’t see any bricks. Let alone brick that are falling. There were no bricks in the sand. “I must be hearing noise that isn’t there - again.”
“Did you forget to take your Old Age Medication today? You did, didn’t you.”
