Just like it was yesterday.

Today marks 28 years since your time with me was cut short. I was a child of 18 years; on the edge of adult-hood. I was just discovering how cool you were. In those short years you taught me a lot. I know if you could have stayed I would have learned so much more. I carry you in my heart every day and think of you often. I wonder how different my life would be if you could've stayed just a little bit longer.
